Well its been some time since our last update. We have been super busy at the shop with customer work and slowly chipping away at the rally car. I just got my hands on a mig welder from a good friend of ours and now I can do the seam welding needed while waiting for the green light on getting the cage installed. Hopefully things will really start moving along a little faster.

An update from the DM Rally Team

Well the car is coming along little by little. We are having the glass removed tomorrow morning and I am still removing seam sealer from the shell. This part of prepping the shell seems like it is never going to end.

On another note we went and spectated the Winter Rally New York this past weekend. A big congrats to all those that competed and finished the rally. The roads were pretty much straight ice and the trees were very car hungry. By the time we left to go home even the local roads were covered in black ice and accidents were happening left and right. Besides the ruff conditions it was a great event.

Welcome to the Dynamic Motorworks rally team blog. We will be posting updates on our team as we go. We are currently in the construction process of our 2001 VW Jetta rally car. Let me give you a little insight in who we are. Dynamic Motorworks is an automotive shop located in Warwick NY that specializes in European vehicles. We have been serving the VW and Audi community with the highest quality repair and performance work since 2003 and now in 2010 we are expanding into motorsports with the start of our rally team.
